Introduction
About me
A bit about who I am, what I do, and what I'm looking for.
"I build things at the intersection of code and craft — clean systems, thoughtful interfaces, and the occasional rabbit hole."
Hi, I'm Himel — a software developer and designer based in Dhaka. I've spent the last 2 years building digital products across startups, university projects, and freelance engagements.
My work lives at the overlap of engineering and design. I care about the full picture: a system that scales, an interface that doesn't confuse people, and code that the next person can actually read. I've worked in TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python, and a handful of other tools — but I pick up what the job needs.
Before that I studied at Bangladesh University of Business and Technology, where I majored in Computer Science with a focus on software engineering and human-computer interaction. I graduated in 2028 with honours.
Outside work you'll usually find me reading, contributing to open source, competing in hackathons, or looking for the best coffee in whatever city I'm in.
